Aloha in Action

Aloha in Action: Community Partnership Program is a mission-aligned sub-program of the 9th Island Cultural Club of Las Vegas (9ICC), created to advance the organization’s purpose of perpetuating the Aloha spirit through diversity by activating collaborative community partnerships.

The program engages community groups, cultural clubs, youth organizations, and volunteers in shared activities that reflect the values of Aloha, including respect, responsibility, cooperation, and service. Through Aloha in Action, 9ICC facilitates cultural events, community gatherings, fundraising activities, and service-based initiatives open to the public or serving the broader community.

Aloha in Action emphasizes participation and collective responsibility rather than individual benefit. Partner organizations and groups contribute through volunteer service, cultural participation, outreach support, and event collaboration. All fundraising activities conducted under the program support 9ICC’s mission-aligned programming and are administered under the organization’s financial oversight to ensure charitable purpose, transparency, and public benefit.

The program may support a wide range of community partnerships, including cultural practitioners, youth clubs, and other community-based groups, provided that participation aligns with the organization’s mission and program objectives. Participation in Aloha in Action does not guarantee financial benefit to any individual or partner organization; rather, resources are allocated based on program needs, charitable purpose, and organizational approval.

Through Aloha in Action, 9ICC strengthens community connection, cultural visibility, and responsible stewardship while creating opportunities for diverse groups to work together in service of shared values.
