Established in 2014, the 9th Island Cultural Club of Las Vegas is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing people together through the Aloha Spirit, diversity, community service, cultural appreciation, and fellowship
Our members, Executive Board, Directors, and supporters generously give their time and talents to serve our community. Through volunteerism, community outreach, scholarships, cultural activities, and partnerships with other organizations, 9ICC strives to make a positive difference throughout the Las Vegas Valley.
Why the “9th Island”?
Las Vegas has long held a special connection to Hawaiʻi and is affectionately known by many as the “9th Island.” Over the years, many former Hawaiʻi residents and their families have made Southern Nevada their home while continuing to embrace the traditions, values, and spirit of the islands.
For the 9th Island Cultural Club of Las Vegas, the name represents more than a connection to Hawaiʻi—it represents ʻohana, community, diversity, and the Aloha Spirit.
We are proud to create a place where people from all backgrounds can come together, build friendships, celebrate culture, serve our community, and share Aloha.
You don't have to be from Hawaiʻi to be part of our ʻohana. Aloha is for everyone.
We believe the Aloha Spirit reaches far beyond a greeting. Aloha represents love, compassion, kindness, respect, peace, and a genuine commitment to caring for one another. These values guide how we serve our members and our community.
The 9th Island Cultural Club of Las Vegas received its IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit status on June 12, 2015.

Membership Meetings
General Membership Meetings are held quarterly via Google Meet at 6:30 PM. Members receive meeting information and access details by email.
